Full Details
Yugen is a versatile side stand with the detail and character of a larger cabinet. Its slender proportions make it at home beside a bed, in an office or as a focal point in a living space.
Double-bridle legs, wedged tenons and blind-dovetailed drawers bring the workmanship into view. These details give the piece its identity, while the drawers provide useful storage without overwhelming the simple outline.
Each stand is made by hand, allowing the colour and grain of the timber to shape its individual appearance. Proportions can be adjusted within the boundaries of the design to suit the space you have in mind.

Material
Available in Ash, Oak and Walnut.
Natural differences in grain and colour are part of the character of timber, so each piece will have its own appearance. Please discuss your preferred timber and finish when enquiring.
Longevity
Made to be used and cared for over time. Dust with a soft cloth, wipe up spills promptly and protect surfaces from hot items and prolonged moisture. Keep timber away from direct heat and sustained strong sunlight.
Timber naturally responds to its surroundings. Please ask for care advice suited to your chosen finish before using oils, polishes or cleaning products.
Environment
Our timber is sourced from a supplier with FSC® and PEFC chain-of-custody certification, whose approach includes careful material use and the recovery and reuse of timber waste.
