Full Details
Chowa is a compact side stand that keeps its form simple and lets the details do the talking. It is suited to a bedside position or beside a chair, offering useful storage within a modest footprint.
Contrasting corner splines and blind-dovetailed drawers bring definition to the cabinet. Their precision sits alongside the natural variation in the timber, giving the piece a character that becomes clearer at close range.
Each Chowa is made by hand. The restrained proportions make it easy to place within a room, while the choice of timber allows it to feel lighter, warmer or more pronounced within the surrounding interior.
Dimensions
H 570 / W 400 / D 300
Material
Available in Ash, Oak and Walnut.
Natural differences in grain and colour are part of the character of timber, so each piece will have its own appearance. Please discuss your preferred timber and finish when enquiring.
Longevity
Made to be used and cared for over time. Dust with a soft cloth, wipe up spills promptly and protect surfaces from hot items and prolonged moisture. Keep timber away from direct heat and sustained strong sunlight.
Timber naturally responds to its surroundings. Please ask for care advice suited to your chosen finish before using oils, polishes or cleaning products.
Environment
Our timber is sourced from a supplier with FSC® and PEFC chain-of-custody certification, whose approach includes careful material use and the recovery and reuse of timber waste.
