Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Bespoke joinery in Lewes for individual homes, from compact town interiors to larger living spaces. Kille makes fitted kitchens, shelving and cabinetry with a focus on material, proportion and everyday usefulness.

The starting point for joinery in Lewes is the character of your home and what you want the space to do. A room with existing architectural detail may call for quiet, restrained cabinetry, while a contemporary interior can give timber and joinery details more room to speak.
I design fitted storage around the things you use, keeping the relationship between open shelving, cupboards and working surfaces clear. The aim is to make the room easier to live in without making it feel overfilled.
From discussing the brief to fitting the finished work, you deal with the same maker. Every commission is developed individually, with materials and construction chosen to support the design.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
