Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Bespoke joinery in Battle for practical, welcoming interiors. Kille creates kitchens, fitted wardrobes, libraries and individual cabinets, made around your home’s proportions and finished with attention to the details that matter.

For joinery in Battle and the surrounding East Sussex countryside, I aim to create pieces that feel like a natural part of the home. The starting point is understanding the room, its existing features and the storage or working space you need.
In an older property, this may involve fitting around irregular walls or retaining a sense of openness. In a newer interior, a simpler arrangement of doors, shelves and surfaces can bring clarity to the space.
From initial design to installation, the work stays with one maker. That allows materials, construction and fitting details to be considered together, creating joinery that is made to be used and built to last.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
