Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Bespoke joinery in Alfriston with an emphasis on proportion, material and a careful fit. Kille makes cupboards, kitchens and individual fitted pieces for village homes and countryside interiors, with practical requirements guiding every design.

For joinery in Alfriston, I look for ways to introduce useful storage while keeping the character of the room intact. In a smaller interior, that may mean a simple cupboard fitted neatly into an available space rather than a larger, more prominent arrangement.
Details are developed in relation to the building and the furniture around them. The choice of timber, edge profiles and finish can help a new piece feel settled without copying every existing feature.
I handle the project from the first conversation to fitting the completed work. Each commission is made to order, with the same care given to internal organisation as to the visible surfaces.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
