Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Bespoke joinery in Hastings for coastal homes and individual interiors. Kille creates fitted kitchens, wardrobes, shelving and cabinetry, designed around your space with a focus on practical use, proportion and carefully chosen materials.

For joinery in Hastings, I begin with the room and the way you want to use it. In an older home, fitted storage might need to work around an unusual recess or uneven walls; in a more recent interior, a clear arrangement of cupboards and shelves can help bring the space together.
I consider what needs to be stored, what you would like to display and how the furniture will relate to the rest of the room. Timber, finishes and construction details are developed as parts of the same design.
Based near Rye, I guide each commission through consultation, design, making and fitting. You work directly with the maker throughout, keeping the practical requirements and agreed details connected.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
