Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Made-to-order joinery in Ditchling for interiors with warmth and individuality. Kille creates fitted kitchens, bookcases, cupboards and wardrobes, combining a respect for materials with practical design and careful construction.

My starting point for joinery in Ditchling is a clear understanding of the space and what you need from it. A library might bring books and display together, while kitchen cabinetry needs a more specific balance of preparation space and accessible storage.
I pay attention to how the timber and construction contribute to the design. A well-proportioned door, a carefully fitted drawer or a quiet junction with the wall can make a piece feel considered without unnecessary decoration.
From my base near Rye, I work through design, manufacture and installation with you. The result is individual joinery made for your home and the way you want to use it.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
