Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Bespoke joinery in Forest Row, bringing natural timber and thoughtful storage into individual homes. Kille creates fitted kitchens, libraries, wardrobes and one-off cabinets, with a careful balance of function, proportion and character.

My approach to joinery in Forest Row is to let the room and the material inform one another. Timber grain can give a simple cabinet its character, while a restrained layout allows the furniture to sit comfortably alongside existing pieces.
For village homes and properties in the surrounding countryside, the brief might range from a small reading corner to a larger kitchen scheme. I consider how open shelving, enclosed storage and usable surfaces can work together.
I develop and make each commission individually, carrying the design through to fitting. The aim is practical joinery with a considered presence, made to be used rather than simply looked at.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
