Kitchens & Utilities
Thoughtful kitchens and hardworking utility spaces, made around your daily routines with practical storage and carefully considered details.
Individual joinery in Canterbury for homes with their own character. From fitted kitchen cabinetry to bedroom storage and bookcases, Kille creates made-to-measure pieces that combine practical layouts with thoughtful timber detailing.

My approach to joinery in Canterbury starts with understanding the building and the people living in it. An older city home may need storage that accommodates unusual dimensions, while a more recent interior can offer scope for a full wall of fitted cabinetry.
I work through those possibilities with you, considering what should be on display, what should be tucked away and how the furniture will be used. The design is shaped by the room, with materials chosen to complement its character.
As the maker, I stay involved through design, construction and fitting. Whether you are planning a kitchen, study or individual cabinet, the aim is a piece that feels purposeful and belongs in your home.

I’m Sam, the maker behind Kille. Based near Rye in East Sussex, I design and make furniture and bespoke joinery with a focus on honest materials, considered proportions and lasting craftsmanship.
I studied Carpentry and Joinery while serving in the British Commando Forces, before pursuing woodworking full-time. Today, I bring that experience to every project, from the first conversation through to making and fitting.
