Pett is a refined interpretation of the mid-century stool, combining rounded timber forms with an intricate handwoven Danish cord seat. Its proportions are deliberately simple, allowing the materials and construction to define the piece.
A split-wedge mortise-and-tenon joint adds a distinctive detail to the frame. The repeated pattern of the cord brings texture and contrast, making the stool as interesting from close range as it is within a room.
Made by hand, Pett is available in low and high versions. A taller bar-stool variation can also be discussed. Please confirm your preferred height when enquiring so the stool can be considered alongside the furniture and space around it.

Material
Available in Ash, Oak and Walnut. The handwoven Danish cord is made from FSC responsibly sourced paper.
Natural differences in grain and colour are part of the character of timber, so each piece will have its own appearance. Please discuss your preferred timber and finish when enquiring.
Longevity
Made to be used and cared for over time. Dust with a soft cloth, wipe up spills promptly and protect surfaces from hot items and prolonged moisture. Keep timber away from direct heat and sustained strong sunlight.
Timber naturally responds to its surroundings. Please ask for care advice suited to your chosen finish before using oils, polishes or cleaning products.
Treat woven cord gently and avoid soaking it. Ask for advice before attempting stain removal or repairs.

Our timber is sourced from a supplier with FSC® and PEFC chain-of-custody certification, whose approach includes careful material use and the recovery and reuse of timber waste.
The Danish cord used in this piece is made from FSC responsibly sourced paper.
